A variety of living creatures and it’s all good! First, let’s acknowledge the humans. We humans are spending time hiking various trails and taking numerous photos of the views at Grand Canyon National Park. When we venture indoors though, facial masks are required since we are still in the throes of Covid-19.
Who else? Very few birds are hanging around in this winter weather, but I did see one white-breasted nuthatch and 6 common ravens, photos to follow:


And, I was pleasantly surprised to see a couple of white-tailed deer close to the rim of the canyon. The buck seemed most alert to our walking in the area while the doe was enjoying the snow. Some photos:


The canyon was beautiful as always and I never believe any photo actually captures its grandeur; however, I keep trying! Here are a couple of photos:
