Part 1 of 4; Rural Area Outside Cuzco

Today was full day with visiting rural area outside Cuzco, visiting an elementary school, having lunch at a weaving center and seeing all steps of the weaving process, and a visit with a shaman; therefore, I am writing a few blogs to cover all our visits. The countryside is beautiful! Patches of land are readied for seeds, lakes with stocked fish, and glaciers as their source of water. When we arrived we had a bag of food and lotions to give a woman sitting at a local park. We took a motorcar ride around the area to see the adobe-built homes, men and women working in the fields, and for us to enjoy the local landscape. There was a line of school children working on their school letter on a mountainside too.
